Smile Just sharing my excitement.

Hello everyone So this is my first Dendrobium Nobile that I purchased this year and I have managed to keep it alive over the winter and now it is rewarding me with a new growth! The growth is actually growing rather quickly and seems to get taller everyday. Anyway! I just wanted to share this with everyone since this is my first orchid like this

Ha! Absolutely nothing out of the normal that I can think of. I water by thoroughly drenching it ever 7-10 days and have started a fertilizing regimen every other watering and use the Orchid Plus Bloom Booster fertilizer (sadly that is all I have) and I have it sitting with my Cattleya in a, I believe east facing window but it could be west, either way it's very bright light and both seem to be enjoying it as the Cattleya is pushing out two new growths.

"Prince today King tomorrow" great satisfaction to see a plant produce healthy new growth keep doing what you are doing and wait for the flowers to appear. Remember with the fertilizer little and often. I tend to change the brand of fertilizer every couple of months I have found this reduces any salt buildup around the roots
