The species is a native species here but is restricted to some regions. It is also found in China and mountainous regions of southeast Asia.

I like it! Both the shape and color form. I bought one for a friend of mine (he's very fond of Dens), but petals and sepals are stricter and almost completely violet. Only a bit of white in the label. Is the lpant of this form big? His war 25/30 cm long

My plant is about 25 cm tall now but it can be taller.
It is similar to the plant of Den. nobile but has thinner pseduobulbs.

Hi Pheli, I'm receiving this plant as a gift. How do you grow it? Especially winter period: do this need a dry cold rest? How long and how much? Thank you
