I followed the culture of Ricardo Valentin I found online and it suggested no water at all for three weeks starting mid December then gradually water once a week until the buds appear or else the canes will shrivel and may affect the quality and quantity production of buds....I have to give it at least 60F at night during the rest period....in short not a very drastic rest period yet the buds appeared first week of February.
