That's the southwest corner for the cattleyas! Yes it a type of Spainish moss that grows on trees in Florida... It's a type of flowering rootless Tilandisia type of bromeliad!!

Lovely blooms....I am just glad to see somebody growing orchids successfully on a high rise building....on a colder weather than mine....

Another year has passed and the pendulum is in bloom again! However, it only gave 4 blooms due to my move ... The way I see it, I'm blessed it's still alive!!

The magenta flares and the deep yellow disc in lips are nice contrast. Hopefully next year after an adjustment period it will bloom from older canes too. I see another new growth starting already!
