I had no idea the Latourias could spike from anywhere except the very top of the cane. I have a Den. Proud Appeal 'Ace' (has some Latouria parentage) that started a growth from below the two topmost leaves and I was sure it was a keiki, but it turned out to be a flower spike instead. I figured it was just a freak thing, but now I guess it was normal. Amazing!

Is there a limit to the number of times an old Latouria cane can rebloom?
