Default Lost terminal leaf, is this okay?

Darn, Darn, Darn...just when I finally get my Den. Sonia Earsakul to finish growing ...doesn't it fall over AGAIN!!!! and the terminal leaf breaks right off....will this hurt the plant or flowering in any way? It's been going on 4 yrs ++ since it bloomed for me and I was hoping maybe this year...but man oh man...how much more can this little plant take?
Thanks!

I'd appreciate if someone could answer my original question.
Will the plant be okay and still flower if the terminal leaf was broken off?
thanks
Helen

Helen, it won't hurt the plant any. It will just send up a new growth. Whether or not it will still flower or not is hard to say. If just the leaf was damaged it may still bloom.

Suggestion.....put that baby in a really HEAVY cache pot. That should keep it upright.

Luckily for dendrobiums they grow in a sympodial manner, hence with the lost of the terminal leaf it can still bloom, but it will most probably produce a keiki on the affected cane.
