Default Dendrobium gregulus

Dendrobium gregulus - miniature Dendrobium endemic to Northern Thailand. Some sources say cold growing, but it is definitely more warm growing species, grown outside in Florida year round, and after flowering now when it looses all the leaves slightly dry winter rest till new growths appear.

Great species as always in your posts. I also love the last pic with the complete plant aspect.
Once I have travelled the North of Thailand, Chiang Rai and the Golden Triangle. There is a Monsoon climate with a wet and a dry season. In the dry season sometimes cold winds are blowing from the north and trees have lost their leaves - but the sun, the mist in the air and the temperatures reminded me of a German late summer at the end of August/ beginning of September. It's a little bit fresh after sunset.

That is really a cute orchid! I cannot believe it is so small! It is a good thing that you use the quarter as a comparison as, without it, I would be lost as to the size.

Thanks euplusia :-) Must have been great to travel and see all the orchids in Wild. I wish I was into the orchids when I was traveling to Asia in the past!

Leafmite, yes, I believe many can't imagine how big or small some orchids are s quarter is a good comparison :-)

Ok, I can barely stand the cuteness of this orchid. Why I think I'm in love.
