First time we went to Al's was last winter on a very cold, windy day. It felt wonderful in that greenhouse and he had a lot of fragrant orchids in bloom, so we were in paradise. When we got back home, we realized that we had gotten a couple of mosquito bites in there! So now when we go, we joke shout having to spray mosquito repellant, no matter what the season, because it is always summer in Al's.

And yes, waiting for the spring for shipping is a killer, I want my Den normanbyense now!

I thought Al had frogs. They had better get to work.
I am wintering my pond plants over and had a bit of a mosquito problem in my home this winter, too. Thankfully, the butterworts seem to have gotten the last of them.

Well, we got rain instead the seven inches of snow predicted but now we are getting snow and cold weather. Great! I am also really looking forward to spring.

Yes, he has frogs, but they must be on a diet! I kind of enjoy mosquito bites in mid-winter.
