Dendrobium Proud Appeal brown leaf patches
Default Dendrobium Proud Appeal brown leaf patches

Had for almost 2 years, has not bloomed since I bought it (when it had 10 spikes!). Leaves have been turning brown for several weeks, a few at a time. No evidence of any scale or infestation to my eye. Roots were not in good shape as you can see. Any help? Live in Greenhouse in Southern California, never below 60 or above 86 F. 50-60% humid. Water 2 x week, fertilize weekly weakly. Thank you!

Like White Rabbit says it could be a sun or chemical burn.
Suggest hold off fertilizer and just water for a couple of weeks then give a weak does of Epsom salts (1 tea spoon to a gallon of water) water only for another 2weeks then continue with your norm water fertilizer program. I have had a similar thing happen to mine and this is the process I applied. All plants perked up. The Epson Salts mixture can also be applied to other orchids that you may think need a boost.Good Luck
