Posey, I just got mine at the end of September. As soon as I got it, I mounted it, and its just taken off from there!

Laura, you've got a lot to look forward to!! The first two photos are flowers that are on canes approx. 2" - 3" long. So they don't need to be very big to flower. The longer canes (the buds that haven't opened yet) are about 6" long. The flowers themselves from tip to tail are about two and half inches.

Nice growing.
The flower looks like that of Brassia and hence gets the name ' Spider dendrobium' here.
