Oh Natalie...yes,so worth it! Love the waxiness of the blooms, pale pink and that dark center. I have a new cane starting and don't know what my next move should be...wetter,dryer etc. Do they like to be potbound? Have it in same pot for 2 yrs.Has not outgrown pot but should I replace bark at the right time? Thanks

Thanks for looking and commenting everyone! So excited about these finally blooming. Happy! Happy! Happy!

DeaC, if it's starting a new cane keep it in a bright spot and water regularly. In my experience, it doesn't need heavy watering, but does need an increase after winter. Also, unless the media looks like it's breaking down, I wouldn't bother moving it now. But if the media does look like it needs changing out, then now is probably the best time - the new growth will produce new roots and settle it into the new media. I have both potted and mounted, and they're doing equally well - I think it does prefer a more open mix though, but failing that, just let it dry out between waterings. I've found these plants to be pretty forgiving.

Oh wow! That is gorgoeus! Now I know that I am growing mine wrong. Its mounted in a deep dark corner of my terrarium where it is never seen and it never sees much light. It has been growing lately because it gets little bit of direct sunlight for an hour or so. I will have to move it.
