Miniature Dendrobium in bloom and bud
I propose a subcategory for Photo of the Month, known as 'Cute Little Purple Dendrobiums Posted on 12/14'.
Cynics might see this as a transparently self-serving way to redeem myself after another noid relapse.
I want to assure you that cynicism causes early hardening of the arteries and other stress related woes.
(the whole plant with spike is only 13" tall. So no biggie, right?

Where'd you pick it up at? I was trying to make it by The Orchid Trail this weekend to see if they had any deciduous dendrobiums for sale, since I have a friend that expressed a little interest in that type. I know they have tons of evergreen and Aussie dendros, but I don't recall if they tend to carry the deciduous ones.

Beautiful color !!! Love it !!
I have 3 that I purchased from a local chain store and they are all strong, healthy and bloomed beautifully. They don't have any names attached and these are the first three that I have ever had. Den Phals are very beautiful.
Your plant looks so healthy !!
Good work..

Got it from Orchid Trail. Went out there with some questions and plants to re-pot. Was emphatically not planning on buying today.... best laid plans and all that.
You probably know Paul. And if you know Paul, you know he's a dendro guy. A call to him could save you a trip. Then again, I never call, mostly because I always want to make the trip.
