Den Aggregatum: new leaf but supposed to stop watering this week. Advice?

I got a small (2") Den Aggregatum spring 2013 and dutifully did not water it from Thanksgiving through new growth (February). This month (November) I have been watering it only once a week, tapering to stop in water Thanksgiving. But Sunday I noticed a new pseudo-bulb and leaf has started.

What do I do? Water it long enough for that leaf to open up, or stop watering on Thanksgiving?

You should always follow the lead of the plant, not some timeline. If the orchid is growing, then you water and fertilize.
A funny thing about this...for the past couple of years, I followed the rules and my orchids have not bloomed. So, this past year, one of our OS members brings hers, covered in spikes, to a meeting. I ask her about the winter care and she tells me she waters it as normal but doesn't fertilize and it blooms every year for her. This year, I am going to treat mine this way.
