I bought these plants blindly for a song and a dance, mounted them and 3 months later this is what I have.

Not Dendo but a Bulbo. Most likely Bulbo rufinum

Yes, I believe you are right. It's so insignificant as to its show appeal. What are your thoughts? Should I keep it?

Up to you. I have two different clones one with stripes and one with out. Once they get to be large they are fairly neat with lots of spikes, but the flowers are small. This plant is no where near a mini, when it grows out.

It's growing on me. . . I'm going to keep it.

Lingcod, discuss its light requirements please. Mine is in spot that receives filtered indirect sunlight.

That should be perfect. I have one in bright filtered and he other is in real shade. Both are doing fine. I do water heavy but they are mounted on boards with no moss like yours. Most Bulbos do like allot of water. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions, but it is not a real picky plant.
