While perusing Norman's Orchids website recently, I came across a few miniature Dendrobium nobile hybrids that are said to not need cool temperatures to bloom and will bloom multiple times per year. The ones that caught my eye specifically are:

Dendrobium Angel Baby 'Little Darling' AM/AOS
Dendrobium Sakura 'Hime'

Both are said to be fragrant and have "tea-cup" sized plants that will remain less than 12 inches tall.

I am looking for some highly fragrant, compact orchids to grow under T5 lights.

Does anyone have experience with these? Are they too good to be true?

How funny--I was browsing in orchid culture webpages and this post popped up. Did you ever get one of these orchids?

I have Angel Baby 'Love Pocket', and it indeed does bloom several times a year, stays compact, is fragrant, and stays inside my house during the winter. It's a very satisfactory plant since I don't have a greenhouse and I'm limited in space. I've had it since 2011. It presently has 10 growths, three of which are in bloom at the moment. It is about 8 inches high. This pic is from a previous year.

I have D. Sakura 'Hime'. It is definitely a small nobile hybrid. The longest canes on mine are under 30cm (12 inches). The flowers are much smaller as well. In my experience, it is not the most vigorous grower.
