Default Dendrobium johnsoniae

Greetings -
I am curious to get some input from others who grow or have grown this plant. Every description I have ever seen describes the flowers as 'fragrant' or even 'extremely fragrant' - mine has bloomed at different times, and I have sniffed at all times of day and night, at many temperatures, without detecting any scent whatsoever.
Do others find it fragrant? Did I get a reluctant 'stinker'? Will it change as the plant ages?
I will admit, the flowers are very, very long-lasting, and hold their shape and color very well, too.
Regards - Nancy

Nancy, how long has the blossum been fully opened? As you mentioned, this plant has long lasting flowers, and perhaps you have not given it enough time? Mine had a nice sweet scent. Perhaps you have a sport?
