Ohh, so sorry nikkik, I was going for this one just because of the conditions it did grow in, as seller stated, up to 84F, it was pretty much must have plant to try :-) I feel guilty, but I hope you got some good flask at the end?

No need to feel guilty! You won fair and square! I haven't won the flask yet, if I get it I am sure it'll be nice because it's from Marni. I've never been dissatisfied with a purchase from her, including flasks.

Oh yeah, if it's from Marni than I am sure it will be awesome! Even my friends in Czech order from her the flasks! Good luck with the auction :-)

Interesting. I have always heard they require cool to cold temps. Be great if yours proves unusually heat tolerant.

The one thing I did learn in the process of killing my cuthbertsonii is that more than anything else, they need good light. Cattleya light. All other things about their environment can be managed if they have sufficient light.

Very true, light is important! They do need very bright light! And night drops. Even the seller of my plant wrote it does not matter so much about day temperatures if they do not go really high, but to provide night drop and good light is the most crucial! I will really hope my theories will work for this one ;-)

Thanks Tindo, I have never had bloom this one, it came with one open bud, but these 3 new blooms in other post are all in my care, so first real blooming for me :-)
