Dendrobium rescue finally blooms
Default Dendrobium rescue finally blooms

I started growing orchids a year ago last March when my Dad gave me two Phals that he found in someone’s trash. They both had spikes with no flowers yet and bloomed for several months. A month later he gave me another plant that I wasn't even sure was an orchid. I looked it up on the internet and found out it was a dendrobium. It was a small plant and the roots seemed to be all dried up.
I researched about it's care. I watered it once a week and repotted it. Although later I learned dens like a smaller pot so I had to repot it again. This spring I put it outside with a little morning sun. I couldn't identify the type of den since I didn't know what the flower looks like. Now it has finally bloomed. There are only 4 small flowers but it sure is pretty.
I believe it is a dendrobium bigibbum compactum.
