Default Dendrobium victoria-reginae in bloom

species from the Philippines

(Section Calcarifera)

A reliable bloomer -
This has been blooming for a few months now (since mid-spring, I think). There's not been a period with a ton of blooms at any one time, but has had a few to several spikes blooming at once, plus always more spikes and buds developing.

Thanks for lookingr44444y (<---- kitty Jack "helped" me type that)

This one is awesome Sonya, unfortunately it did not do so good for me :-( I always enjoy to see the pics of the bloom, the color is out of this world! Thanks for sharing :-)

Once again yours is beautiful looking. I would love one but don't always do real good with some of the Dens. Is it a fussy one?

Thank you!

Should you decide to try again - not too much sun (a little morning and/or late sun), likes evenly moist potting media - no winter rest, but can be allowed to become slightly dry in-between waterings in winter.

Thanks

It's potted, but the canes aren't staked upright - and yes, it's become a big pain, as it's difficult to keep the pot upright - the plant is in a square plastic pot, squeezed into a round plastic pot, jammed into a square ceramic pot. It's on a low shelf below a wooden table, against the house - still topples over in wind I'm thinking about repotting into a clay pot next year, and finding a suitable place to hang that ...

It doesn't seem fussy to me ... not too much sun, evenly moist media - no winter rest, but can be allowed to dry slightly in winter, but shouldn't remain dry for too long.
