Dendrobium pachyphylum in bloom
Bloomed again! They bloom after a change in watering, but haven't figured out what exactly it is. This is 3rd time in about 7 months. I hope I'm not exhausting this plant.
Got a new camera lens, so can show the flower up close - though the real charm of this plant is it's heavenly fragrance plus the fact that the flowers last just one day plus it's clumping growth habit.

Does it rebloom from old pseudobulbs?

I haven't been keeping track - they're small - but since there's not that many pseudobulbs, and not THAT many new ones, I think the answer to your question must be yes.

Very nice blooms again and photos. Is it growing well?

And....again!
I've had this plant 14 months, pretty sure this is it's 4th bloom! And yes, just saw your question now, it is growing; seeing some new roots and new growth.
It had 43 flowers this time. Love the fragrance. The flowers need the camera lens to look so pretty, but they are nice.

(It looks like there is water on the lens! But there wasn't. I'll figure out this photography thing eventually.)
Next time (god willing, fingers crossed) I will try to remember to take some photos of it in bud, it's interesting.

Such a cute species! Love the dark ruby striping ... do you fertilize it much?

I fertilize it, but "much"? I fertilize like I do all my orchids. In winter I cut back on water and on fertilizer, so it probably got fed 1x month, with a 1/4 dose per feeding.

And.....again!
Not my preference for it to bloom this often. I read that it blooms after a cold rain, so maybe it's a result of the temperature of the watering.
