Dendrobium Lowii
Just got this at the Garden festival in our garden city. Monday to be exact. Love it. . It is all white. Lighting on the morning made the photo yellowish.

Beautiful! Is this one of the Dendrobiums that needs to stay a little moist?

Hi bethmarie, if truth be told, I have no idea!! But it is mounted so unlikely. I make sure my plants are watered daily as it is really hot here. Especially the mounted ones.

I bought a non-flowering lowii from the fest too, but the vendor actually have a picture of the flowers, which are yellow in colour, and doesn't really look like the flowers on your dendrobium.

Dendrobium Lowii
Most of the Dendrobium lawesii are red to pink to orange. But I have seen white ones like this one from the Internet
Dendrobium lawesii by KG LAM, on Flickr
I think this one likes a winter rest but not as dry as other orchids that require winter rest. I hope KG LAM doesn't mind me posting is picture. If you go his flickr site, he has many lovely orchids on display.

Dendrobium Lowii
That is right sthh. If you read Debra's first post, her title stated "lowii" but in the text she corrected it to "lawesii". You read the title and didn't see that she was referring to "lawesii". And that is why I posted a picture of "lawesii".
And just in case there is still doubt in your mind that I know the difference, here is a picture--not my picture--of a Den. lowii.
