This has been a very strange year for D. anosmum. I have been watering regularly with MSU mix for RO water at 125 ppm Nitrogen and the canes achieved greater growth than normal (like 25% additional length.) I was getting ready to stop watering at end of October as usual and they just went dormant on their own and lost all leaves in less than a month. This normally takes twice that time. Now as of today, the flower buds are appearing and new growth buds as well. This normally occurs in March in past years. From the looks of things the flower display should be three times what is has been in past years. Here is a past year display:
This spring the flower column appears to be three times this last one on all 5 canes!
