my dendrobium sonia
this is my first dendrobium ever and after much love and attention i almost killed it so i pulled back a little and it seems to be surviving.i didnt like the mounting it came on so i potted it and placed it on an east facing window which gets about 3 hours good light and a bit more of brightish light.i'm watering once a week with an added weakly fertilizer,i mist it with a spray bottle containing some of the fertilizer as well in the mornings, dont have space on the window sill for a tray of water and the air is kinda dry here so hoping it will help with that,on weekends when i have more time at home i place it outside where it gets sun till about midday spritzing it everytime i see it(its winter here but days can get quite warm should i worry about sunburn) and am i over killing with the spraying and foliar feeds?placed a photo here as well of the plant there are a few stems with no leaves, will they grow back or what do i do with them.also heard that they can flower more than once a year, how do i go about getting them to?does anyone know how big they get i read up that some dends can grow metres high?any help will be greatly appreciated.
