I'm a small backyard grower in a residential area overlooking Pearl Harbor. I barely have enough yard space to keep my orchids happy. Most of the photographs that I post on this Board are of plants that I raised and bloomed. My best friends are orchid people.

WOW! not many blooms? I hope mine will bloom like that! I have had one for quite a few years and was really excited this month when 1 cane gave me 2 flowers! The scent is just wonderful....
smells like raspberries to me.

Hi! I give mine a serious resting period, with very little (almost no , until I see some shriveling on the canes) water, from when the temperatures drop to 14o C until late spring (temps round 20s I think), and it bloomed for me the two years I have it.
