Update
The plant is really filling out as the remaining buds open and flowers mature. There are still buds that have not yet opened.

I'm a small backyard grower in a residential area overlooking Pearl Harbor. I barely have enough yard space to keep my orchids happy. Most of the photographs that I post on this Board are of plants that I raised and bloomed. My best friends are orchid people.

August 1, 2015 Update
This is today's view of my Hibiki. There are still some buds on the upper portions of the stalks. The plant is growing in a 4-inch wood basket.
