How to cut off kiekies??

I have a young den. Kinganium growing in S/H. It immediately got acclimated to the medium, and also very quickly started making kiekies. (I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong) The roots on the kiekies are about 1/4 on an inch long. I need some info on cutting them off the main stalk-and can I just put them in moss to get the babies going? I have to say that I would rather it be flowering than making all these babies.
