Dendrobium Burana Pink
got a few flowers open today. Ill have to show you how it grows in a pic later...its crazy you know it.
it has 2 shoots that couldn't decide to be keiki or spike so the keiki's spiked ..they worked it out

yes will post the whole plant even if its kind of odd looking. It has been thru a hailstorm and got beat down pretty badly. 1 cane was left and everyone here convinced me to save it.
it doesnt grow from the pot it grows from the top and its kind of ugly ya know....I felt sentimental though even that fact given and saved it.
Going to have lots of flowers.. I'm really surprised they look so good...

its the dreaded double keiki spike of impending doom
the plant doesnt grow from the pot it grows from the top...eventually its going to fall over

I love the color and the shape!
By the way, this happened to one of my dendrobiums. Don't worry too much. The keikis-turned into-spikes on mine grew some roots eventually, so I severed them off the mother plant and started two new plants.

I've got a Den which isn't growing from the base (I found a snail eating it's lower growths an no more have appeared) but keeps growing keikis out the top. These are also growing roots quite well though, and I've removed 3 so far and another is now starting. I've had no trouble getting roots on Den keikis, hopefully yours will get roots soon.
