I promise you if they turn me down on the home I'm trying to buy ...Im going to go get a sympathy purchase Canon 1dx and be done with cameras for a very long time
well there going to be back this winter got 4 bud clusters working for me
Almost exactly 6 months from last bud & flowering
I dont see many growing these. Or blooming them out anyway. They are really an easy to grow plant all things considered. I have not been very good at dendrobiums. I have very few. Ive killed many more. You should all have one of these by now
maybe that hard cold I got the beginning of november kicked them all in the budd!!
That is absolutely stunning. Well done! I really like all of the Calyptrochilus section, but they tend to get pretty big for an indoor/balcony grower like myself. I imagine a lot of people have the same problem. They look pretty messy too when they drop their leaves, but I would consider it worth it for those flowers!
I only have subclausum, but it came to me sans roots and now all I have are keikis growing in a plastic chinese-takeway tub.
I was going to mount it and never got to it so it would grow right by the "orchid book". Then decided if it was happy growing upright, so be it leave it alone.
this is what the canes looked like green over the summer. Yes I love the flowers and put up with the ugly. It works on me some but when I see the buds I forget all about the ugly...
unusual with my penchant for nice foliage..2 of my most favorite 'blooms for me' orchids are 2 deciduous dendrobiums...the anosmum is a must have also with the honey scent and wonderful purple blooms...
