Default Dendrobium Gatton Sunray

The first buds have opened on this old hybrid. Although the plant is large and takes up a lot of space, it's easy to grow and bloom, and the sunny yellow flowers are produced in abundance. This year my mother plant is producing seven spikes and around sixty blooms.

Would love to see the entire plant in bloom!! I have one too which is currently in its growth stage. Haven't seen a spike yet.

Lots more blooms are open, so I dusted off the attendant ants and brought the plant indoors to protect it from the day of thunderstorms that we're experiencing here.
