Den. Ueang Pheung (Den. jenkinsii x Den. aggregatum)
I grow this one outside year round with my Cymbidiums. It likes less sun than my Cyms in the summer but can take the light and the cold like my Cyms in the winter down to around 50F/10C. Very little water between Nov and Feb and really needs the cold to flower well.
For me this is a very rewarding plant and seems not to fuss at all!
Enjoy!
Andrew

Thank you Andrew for posting your plant's pictures. It is BEAUTIFUL! I just ordered this hybrid xross. I cannot wait for it to arrive and someday hope it gets as lovely as your plant. I also appreciate your cultural advise. This is very good information on how to grow it during the winter.

Matt:
The species plants experience a monsoon climate in nature. Very wet in the summer and dry, cool and sunny in winter.
I also grow it in a very small pot, 2 in I think. Or you can mount it, but that would require daily watering in summer.
In winter it really does not need water at all. I water may be once a month just to prevent desiccation of the bulbs, but some shrinkage is natural and it promotes flowering.

I saw your lindleyi post, I am now bowing! LOL. I am a lindleyi species but suffered from my previous mistaken care. It is taking a very long time to recover!
