I have four of these now and love everyone of them. I found this one in a bag at a local box store and it has said thank you every year by putting on one beautiful display after another. This year I was just so proud of her!

That is a really spectacular display! Just beautiful!
I really think I should send my den to you. I just don't give it the light it needs during the winter and so it punishes me by not giving me blooms.

Awww, mine doesn't get as high a light in winter as it goes onto the winter racks, but the rest of the year it gets baked pretty good. xD

I am going to have to experiment. Seeing yours really makes me want to see mine bloom. I really enjoy seeing the pictures as the flowers are just beautiful.

I have mine mounted and October 1 is the last time it sees any fertilizer and then November 1 is the last time it gets any water until it spikes. This species is from monsoon regions of Asia and requires a strong dry winter rest.

I water mine all the way through December, even after that they receive water from time to time on their winter racks and still they all managed to bloom for me. Guess they are determined to show off.

What a great flowering you got from this one. And your photographs are excellent as well.
