Dendrobium canaliculatum Male
Default Dendrobium canaliculatum

THANK YOU BUD!
I saw Bud's plant last month and fall in love. I can't take any credit for the spike, it came with it from the seller, however at least it did not blast like many others that came in spike from him:-) It is mounted on Melaleuca wood, I love the growing habit, does not even look like Dendro, I did place it in bright light with some direct sun late in the afternoon.

Very nice! I too love the growing habit of this species, though I haven't had much success growing it. Dendrobium carronii is a similar species you might also like.

I have carronii and I've noticed they REALLY like to dry out. I've wanted to give canaliculatum a try and will definitely pick one up the next time I come across it!
