You saw a plant that looks similar to yours in an orchid show....
Home Depot will sell Denphals for mass production and not any advanced sophisticated hybrid Dendrobium types.
And looking at your picture it is a Denphal.
Believe me, the plants may look alike but never assume that your plant is also a 'Burana Red'.
Its a NOID from Home Depot.
The warmth, moisture and humidity must be maintained, bright light and air flow. It seems the plant was dehydrated from the shelves.
I suggest you follow the Denphal culture.

Evergreen Dendrobiums yield blossoms periodically throughout the year while deciduous Dendrobiums undergo periodic dormancy after which they grow anew and then yield blossoms.
Be careful=by assuming it is decidious, you might kill your plant.
