Watering a deciduous dendrobium?
I got a NOID dendrobium from home depot in november. More like I saved it- they had it sharing a pot with a fern. The flowers were excellent and long lived, but immediately after the leaves started turning yellow and dropping off one by one. I thought it was dying, then I was at an orchid show last week and saw an orchid that looked exactly like mine doing the same thing. It was labeled Dendrobium Burana 'Red' and I can't be 100% sure thats what mine is but they did look exactly alike. I asked the guy selling it and he said it is deciduous. So I'm wondering- is it bad that I've been watering it once a week? Should I stop? When will it grow again? This is my first experience with a deciduous orchid.
