Got this one last summer, kept it dry most of the winter, with watering when canes were shriveled, 3 nice spikes starting to open now, love it:-)

Such a charming orchid. Has been on my list for a while but heard they can get rather tall so have been holding off The few I saw at POE didn't look too tall though so I may have to get one after all

Mine is about 2' tall so far. I'll see how tall the newer canes get. It has not bloomed so far but I did not keep it particularly dry this winter. One of the growers in my area says he keeps watering his Dends. as long as they have leaves and mine still has lots of leaves.

Beverly, mine has a lots of leaves too, however I did keep it on DRY side during the winter, watering only when canes showed shriveling signs, and it seem to pay off. Even when kept dry, it really did not loose many leaves.
