Dendrobium Forty Niner 'Susan'
This dendrobium is an excellent and dependable bloomer. It normally blooms in the middle of March just in time for the first orchid shows in Hawaii. This year the pant is blooming a little early and will probably miss the shows. The plant is growing in bark in a 12-inch concrete pot.

Although not in its prime, I displayed this plant at the Windward Orchid Show held during March 21-23 at the King Intermediate School Gym in Kaneohe. The plant received the Best Nobile Trophy judged by the American Orchid Society judges.

Den. Forty Niner is a profuse bloomer that grows and blooms under warm conditions. I have a keiki from this plant that you can have. I need to check on the Spring Jewel. PM me your address.
