Default D Merlin. D Tortile and D Lodigessi

D Merlin. D Tortile and D Lodigessi are these all Soft Cane Dens? Any information would be greatful.

I get confused with the naming, I guess I will get better at it as the years go by.

D Tortile and D Lodigessi are genera right?

D Merlin is a variety?

These three orchids are all soft cane type. Den. tortile and Den. loddigesii are species while Den. Merlin is a hybrid.
I own tortile and loddigesii. Den. tortile is an erect, medium or large sized plant with plump pseudobulbs. The latter, Den. loddigesii is a tiny, creeping plant or maybe sometimes pendulous. They are both easy plants to grow and to bloom.

The best source of information I've found for Dendrobium is The Baker's, Orchids Species Culture. Orchid Culture - Charles and Margaret Baker It is mostly a subscription service. I believe they may send you a complimentary sheet if you ask, to see if you like the information. I have never been disappointed in the detailed information I've received.
Of course you can buy the book, (if your can find) "Orchid Species Culture - Dendrobium" by Margaret & Charles Baker.

I was recently given a Den Merlin (an extra that someone in the society had laying around) and have no idea what it looks like when blooming. I've searched the internet but found nothing. Then when I saw you had one - well, any pics or even a description of the flower?
thanks
