Dendrobium alexandrae
Dendrobium alexandrae is a species from Papua-New Guinea, growing there up in high old moss-covered trees at an altitude of 1000-1200 meters above sea level. It was collected only very few times, but grows well under intermediate conditions and medium bright light. I placed my plant under the Cattleya bench. Once the plant has reached a bigger size, it flowers freely in late winter with long lasting blooms, often a second time from old bulbs as well. Best is the scent of beeswax candles.
