Nicely flowered and beautiful colours.

It does look like a hot/cold though. Dendrobium Berry seems to be pretty common in the USA and tends to masquerade as kingianum in a few collections. That'd be my guess.

Really Gorgeous colour!

I first thought of Dendrobium Berry as well, though I've never seen it in person so can't really say.

While the plant looks like a kingianum, the close up photo reveals that it is a hybrid.

Kingianum has narrow petals, which point forward; attached are photos of 2 clones, which I have in bloom at the moment, 'Red Ink No. 2' and variety silcockii 'Sue' AM/AOS (the semi-alba).

Andrew, you will be probably right, I did get this at the Tamiami show last weekend and it was sold to me as kingianum, since the one I have home never bloomed I did not realize the shape and color is not right at the show. Ohh well, still nice little Dendro.

What did the tag say? This might be a cross of kingianum and biggibum ....the colors of the biggibum is apparent and the form of the fully opened flowers....yet the kingianum characteristics are present from bud to newly opened.

Bud, it just says Dendrobium kingianum, nothing else;-) But it was also very cheap, only $12, so I guess it is some hybrid?
