You know I'm just wondering if you should take another spiking keiki off the parent and bring it in, so it can be flowering as this one finishes. They definitely need to cold to start spiking but bringing them in then makes them open sooner.

They do always seem to face down on the parent and on this. A couple of the flowers turned upwards as they opened, but on the whole the spikes curve down and the flowers face down.
