I acquired a Dendrobium with an affixed label "Purple Passion" An advanced search of this alliance yields no hits. Could anyone tell me what this is because none of the library's books nor the orchid blogging boards, Google etc have information on its care.
BTW: I'm a little unsure on Dendrobium Country Girl "Warabeuta" too if you have any insight. There are indeed posts for Warabeuta in this forum but the culture is not clear and, in addition, another post has a pic that (I think) has the name of a different orchid from Country Girl. Thank you for your assistance.

The one 'Purple Passion' I'm familiar with is Dendrobium anosmum 'Purple Passion'. If you post a photo of the plant, I can probably confirm if it is or is not Den. anosmum.
That looks like another nobile, as is the Warabueta. I don't know where you are, but you probably want to let them be pretty cool at night to set buds, as that one is big enough to bloom. Temps in the 40s at night should be ideal, from what I understand. Occasional mist, but no heavy watering, too.
I forgot to add that this is just during the winter. During the growing period I understand they like a lot of water and to get a steady, but light diet of food until sometime in July.
