Dendrobium nobile Love Memory 'Fizz', two, and Nubs

got this last year, and was overjoyed with the look, and scent It started two flower buds last month, and now, there are little nubbins a few more places on the two mature canes. Can't wait to see this again, and now that I know they will bloom for me, another special nobile is on my list : Oriental Smile ' Fantasy'

At least 4 of the ones I got are putting out the little bud nodes now, some are extending to hopefully be flowers and not keikis. They've been getting very chilly nights into the 40s for a couple weeks or so now, and I've tried to keep them dry though they did get one rain last week, then seem to have dried out pretty quickly. I also got the regular species from Andy's, and it's mounted. I believe I see some nodes beginning to form on the larger canes for it too. These have always been a favorite since I first started growing orchids over 30 years ago! Now, if the Chyrsotoxum and Farmeri will set buds!

I hope they are all buds. With that temperature, it's gotta be buds.

Mine, has been outside, till late fall,with temps of 5 C. When it was close to freezing, it came inside to a bright real cool window. [must get a thermometer to determine how cool] also, it didn't get any more rainwater for a couple weeks. then, I figured it needed a bit of water, so watered it well. All the leaves it grew on the two new canes, are still good, and its nubbing

I think its kind of strange two buds are going to be premature to the others, but oh well. can really enjoy them, and wait for more

They look very nice! I'm going to post the ones I got on another thread to not hijack yours! One of mine is doing something similar to yours.
