'Huttoni' has white flowers with colored lip so I guess it could be classified as a semi-alba. The Den. anosmum 'Huttoni' that I have is a keiki off a plant that came from the Philippines. People say the 'Huttoni' lip is blue but to me it is more raspberry than blue. Here is a photo of a 'Huttoni' that I took a couple of years ago.

I love the color combo on both of these plants Mel. Are they the typical anosmum length?

The flowers are quite attractive in the semi-alba form. Too bad about the lack of fragrance. Perhaps this is the odd variety of the species that lives up to the anosmum name.

They are typical anosmum length. However, these semi-albas lack the typical anosmum fragrance.

I use a black muslin backdrop cloth. You can buy these on Amazon under black muslin backdrop. Black velvet also works great if you find it. |
