Dendrobium Hawaii Stripes
Roy Tokunaga of H&R Nurseries crossed his Den. Roy Tokunaga with a striped dendrobium (Den. Nida Stripes) and came out with these beautiful striped flowers. The flowers are large and very long lasting. This plant has been in bloom for nearly two months now. I had this plant displayed at the Honolulu Orchid Society Show held October 11-13, 2013 and the flowers still look fresh today (December 4, 2013).

I love how it has retained the latourea shape. Normally the Phalaenanthe influence is overwhelming in hybrids like this.

I am guessing it is a Phal type den. I have an addiction to these! Because they always give me a hard time and of course I want them more because of that.
I want one if these!!!

I agree, the shape is non-typical and refreshing.
