it has 8 canes you can see and 2 smaller ones in the back for a total of 11. Shame though the leaves have to drop for it to bloom. Im going to miss the nice green leaves
it didn't get as much light as the rest of the dendrobiums as it spent most its time next to the phals on the east side lower shelf. its cooler down there and closer to the floor it got a lot of 'steam' off the floor during the summer. They like the moisture/ humidity and more than the heat. They like it to be somewhat cooler.
Mr Stubbings at Clown Alley has a few of these left blooming size for around 30 bucks last time I was there....they are hard to find blooming sized bec #1 they aren't that easy to get grown right.
it still refuses to give me a good shot at the flowers. tried to show you the little stripes. I see one that's been chewed on the lip is most of what I see
