"Thanks I am hoping that it has kicked into gear as far as blooming now
Some of the pendant canes (now blooming) ARE keikis - after blooming - when new growth starts, I guess ? I can see if I can get any off in one piece - I recently tried removing a couple keikis from a very similar Den; the largest came off fine, but the smaller one just broke off from the parent, leaving the roots behind"
Re: I would love that! (the one with the roots of course ) I think you have culture really right on this plant. It is the best I've seen!

Wonderful color on those, Sonya, and your plant looks superbly healthy too.
Got a question for you that's a little off-topic: What happened to your poor wading pool in the background? It looks like it got into a fight with a pit bull! :-)

Thanks
Ha! I was wondering if anyone was going to comment on the pool It's become part of the scenery to me, and I only noticed in the photo That had been left outside thru all sorts of weather - I have thrown away smaller pieces that have broken off, but procrastinated/ing on trying to get the large part left into the trash - and then forget / forgot until I don't even notice it there most of the time

Thanks
I don't know how hot it gets where you are - but summer days here are very warm to hot here, but it does cool a lot at night. Late spring into early summer was quite toasty this year and I suspect that's why early buds fell off, or blooms just looked poor.
Of course - it CAN be grown indoors ... (probably want to stake the canes in that case, or grow hanging in a window)

Oh, that is stunning! You must be really pleased.
Makes mine look pathetic.
I will show yours to it and it will have something to aspire to.
