Default New Dens. winter rest required?

I have two new dens. and was wondering if I would need to start the winter rest for them as well as my nobile types.

One is a Den. Anntennum, picture below

the other is now a noid because it was a bonus plant from C&H and the placard with it is no longer with it this morning when I wen to check on it. pictured #2.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Winter rest for me is a couple of weeks in January and February to slow down on watering, seems early to me is it getting cold in Texas? Those plants are kind of small to take the water away for too long.

No but it is not hitting over 100 quite so much
I was thinking they might be to small to do a winter rest just yet.

For most of my Nobile section dendrobiums I rest from Halloween to Valentine's Day; those are two dates that are easy to remember, resulting in about 3.5 months of rest; in the greenhouse I will mist the plants about every 10 days, but I don't pour water through their pots; the few that I grow on mounts I continue to water, just not as regularly.
When my plants begin to bloom (ie the flowers have opened), I usually give them a thorough watering once per week.
Please let us know if we can help further,
Adam

I think you meant dendrobium antennatum??
That one is a year round warm grower, so you don't want to expose it to cold.

The NOID, judging by the look of the plant, looks very much like nobile hybrid.

Follow the nobile care.
