Dendrobium Thongchai Gold.
I have seen this offered a few time in the past year but there were all half dead looking.
This one has 6 flowers attached with four flowers already knocked off. I still got it because of the potential.
It is the first time flowering, so the count is good and there is a nice big fat new cane developing too!

Slightly fragrant and very refreshing yellow green.

Not everything looks nice there and I go to my TJ at least twice a week with one eye for my food and the other for orchdis.

I'm jealous. My TJ's doesn't carry so much good stuff in the orchid department. I have the occasional good finds, but nothing like you!

Don't feel so bad or jealous as I believe mine is just as good (or bad)

As I go grocery shop to TJ very often, when I see something I like in good condition, I buy, and this does not happen every week.

There were many beautiful miltoniopsis the other day but they all looked half dead although one of them had amazing fragrance...still dead looking, so I put my urge down although it would have been worth it just for the fragrance of one week or so.
