Den. rhodopterygium var. semi-alba
Den. parishii is the accepted species for Den. rhodopterygium. This rhodopterygium has a deep raspberry color on the side lobes of the lip. The raspberry color is much richer than found in the typical Den. parishii var. semi-alba. I obtained this plant from Orchid Center in Waianae. The plant was a keiki off the parent plant which came from Tropical Orchid Farm on Maui. The plant is growing in a 4-inch plastic pot with New Zealand Sphagnum moss as the media.
