I leave this orchid outside in almost full sum from after thanks giving to when I see spikes, usually late March.
I don't water it at all, but winter is our rainy season, so I let it rain on.
Min temp usually upper 40s or 10c. They don't mind as long as dry. I do think the lower temp does help. I grew an agrregatum and kept winter nights 50s to almost 60. It never flowered well for me. Now it is recovering and getting dry winter rests. Hopefully next season.

Thanks much for the info, Andrew. I certainly could leave it outside...but guess I'd be putting it inside every time the temps. dip into the 30's. We'll see what happens in the Fall. BettyE
