Dendrobium thyrsiflorum Male
Default Dendrobium thyrsiflorum

It is a widespread dendrobium found in southeast Asia and also is my first known lantern dendrobium.
In Taiwan, it is very common to see this one sold in the season. Other similar species, such as farmeri, amabile and griffithianum, are all popular here.

I love the color and form on this and quite floriferous in just one spike. Is it fragrant?
